Accepting Jesus is just the beginning. The journey involves growing your relationship with Him:
- Forgive Yourself
You are a new creation in Christ. Believe that God loves you and has forgiven you (2 Corinthians 5:17). - Commit to Repentance
Repentance is turning away from sin and choosing to live in obedience to God. The Holy Spirit will guide you as you seek to follow Jesus faithfully. - Spend Time with God
Develop a daily habit of prayer, Bible reading, and talking to God. Start with accessible translations and online resources like Bible Gateway. - Find a Bible-Believing Church
Spiritual growth happens in community. Find a church where you can worship, learn, and grow in your faith. - Fellowship with Believers
Surround yourself with a community of faith for encouragement and support. - Baptism
Get baptized as a public declaration of your faith, symbolizing the death of your old self and your new life in Christ (Colossians 2:12-13). - Share Your Faith
Tell others about your new life in Christ and what He has done for you (Revelation 12:11).
