Sin separates us from God, leading to spiritual death. The Bible teaches that every human being is born into sin due to Adam and Eve’s fall, and we all continue to sin in our lives (Romans 5:12). This separation means we must be spiritually reborn—born again—to reconcile with God and receive eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Jesus, God’s only Son, came to bridge this separation. He died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers the gift of salvation to all who believe in Him (Romans 6:23, John 3:16-17). Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Being born again means accepting Christ as Lord and Savior, allowing His grace to transform your life.
If you want to receive Jesus as your Savior, pray this prayer:
"Dear Lord, I confess that I am a sinner, separated from You because of my sins. I am truly sorry and turn away from my sinful life. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died for my sins, rose from the dead, and is alive. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and invite Him to reign in my heart from this day forward. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins and giving me eternal life. Amen."
The Bible promises, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9-10). If you have prayed this prayer sincerely, you are now a child of God (John 1:12). Congratulations and welcome to God’s family!
