Building the Future: House of Restoration and Healing
We are excited to share that the House of Restoration and Healing is in the process of rebuilding our church at its original location on 901 South 4th Street, Camden, NJ (Block 238, Lots 71 and 75). This project involves the subdivision and development of the site for new construction, a journey we embarked on in 2021 with planning, engineering, and permitting activities.
Our vision is to create a multi-level space that will serve not only as a place of worship but also as a hub for community services, events, and educational programs. This is more than just a building—it is a beacon of hope and restoration for our community.
Project Phases & Progress
To bring this vision to life, we are advancing in structured phases. Below, you’ll find the estimated cost for each phase and the current funding progress.
Phase 1: Engineering, Construction Plans & Permitting
- Estimated Cost: $250,000
- Funds Raised: $162,000
- This phase includes architectural design, engineering plans, site surveys, and the necessary permits to prepare for construction. It lays the foundation for a smooth and efficient building process.
Phase 2: Construction of the Church Facility
- Estimated Cost: $4,000,000
- Funds Raised: $0
- Once permits are approved, this phase includes the actual construction of our new facility. It will feature a spacious sanctuary, classrooms, community meeting spaces, and administrative offices, providing a place for worship, learning, and outreach.
Why We Are Building
Our own church building will allow us to fully serve our growing congregation and the Camden community. Through this new facility, we will:
✅ Expand Worship Opportunities – A larger, more welcoming sanctuary to accommodate more members.
✅ Strengthen Community Outreach – Spaces for educational programs, support groups, and community services.
✅ Create Lasting Impact – A place where faith, education, and service come together to change lives.
Guided by faith and trusting in God’s provision, we are committed to ensuring this new space becomes a sanctuary where the Lord continues His work—where we gather to worship, serve, and uplift our community.
